Okay guys, I know this is super popular post for this issue. I am just a person who owns a tablet. I don't know how to fix this problem for any tablet other than the ones mentioned. PLEASE read the ENTIRE post before posting a question or asking for help. If you have a type of tablet that I've reported doesn't work with this method, please don't try to do it and then post that it doesn't work. I also now own a Mac, and SAI doesn't have sense of pressure sensitivity with Macs at all, nor will they ever, because the person who made the program hates everything. If someone can make a Mac version, I'll post the link all over everything ever and love you always. o:

But I do use a PC at work, running Windows Vista and using a Bamboo Touch. I don't use SAI, strictly Adobe Flash, but when my tablet malfunctions a restart will usually fix it. Rebooting your system sucks, yes, but sometimes it's just the answer with computers.

Okay, so I was having major problems with Paint Tool SAI. I had never gotten the pressure sensitivity to work with my tablet (I was running Windows XP with an Intuos 3 tablet), and I ran across someone else with the same problem, running Vista with an Intuos 4.
All you need to do is go to:
Control Panel > Change or Remove Program > Wacom (hit the CHANGE button, not the remove button)
An option window will come up, asking you if you want to remove your tablet preferences and instances, or if you want to remove them for all users on the computer. If you share your computer with anyone else, I would recommend the first, though I did the second.
If you had SAI or Photoshop or something open, you'll need to restart the program, but it should be fixed!
Just in case anyone else was having that kind of problem.
Betterifimdeath posted this method that several people have said works well! AND IT WORKS WITH BAMBOO SPLASH!
-Uninstall everything related to wacom form your computer
-Connect the tablet so the automatic drivers get installed and the tablet works as a mouse
-Download from wacom.com the latest upgrades and install
-Disconnect the tablet and open paint tool sai and open a new document
-Connect the tablet and try the pressure
EDIT: I'm not actually a magical pressure sensitivity wizard, so I can't solve everyone's issues with different tablets. List of devices/OSs that this method has been reported to not work on:
Tablet PC
Bamboo (and Bamboo Fun) running Windows 7
G-Pen F610 running Vista
EDIT EDIT: Polyanthum has provided this link, which comes with helpful screenshots: sai.detstwo.com/smf/index.php?… sure which tablet this is for, or which operating system, but hopefully it'll help those who're having a hard time. It's another method, and one that looks like it would work quite well.
EDIT EDIT EDIT: lyingfawn has provided the following helpful info:
For people who can't find the "change" option, there should be a "wacom tablet" program (under "all programs" in the start-up) and in there would be a "wacom tablet preference file utility" and if you click that a pop up will have the remove options c: for those who can't find it~
Thanks Haunti!
For the Bamboo on XP, Artemis-aka-Diana gave this helpful tip:
Start>All Programs>Bamboo>Bamboo Preference File Utility. A pop up comes up, click "remove" (should be the first button at the top)
Also The-Night-Craft posted this helpful video from YouTube! www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZIsrQ… The-Night-Craft!
EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT: Someone tried this with the Bamboo Fun and reported that it made the tablet malfunction on all levels, so please use caution when trying this method!
2012 EDIT: Albel-is-MINE gave me this video link for Intuos 5! Looks super helpful! www.youtube.com/watch?v=fejuoq…

Baby time!
I don't know if I have anyone who reads these things, but on March 21st, I had a baby! A healthy little girl, her name is Keena Marie. She's half white and half Chamorro/Filipino, but right now she looks almost exactly how I looked as a baby but she has a Filipino nose, haha. Bright reddish-gold hair and eyes that are blue and brown at the same time. It's really strange.
Almost all of the art I've been doing is work related, but I'm going to try to do personal things and post them. I don't know how my coworkers do it, one of them does very successful portrait commissions and two of the others have another full comic business that they b
Aaaah Internet
So I'm going to be moving painfully soon, and just learned from my internet provider that my internet does not go to my new building. I had Comcast, which is undoubtedly the fastest and most reliable in Seattle, but now must venture out into the sad, lonely world of not-cable-internet. I've heard nothing but bad things about Clearwire and Centurylink/Qwest, but does anyone else have experience with another Seattle ISP?
Birthday!
It was my birthday on the 1st, I'm 25 now.
That's it, really, haha.
Name change!
The artist formally known as Comrade-Fluffy is now iridogorgia! This matches most of my other online personas now, so hopefully people will be able to find me easier! Yay DA for making name changes possible.
